Chapter 9: To Friends! Old and new! Borrowed and blue!
"Mmmm, this is yummy." I mummbled as I ate fruit for breakfast.
"What fruit is it?" Garrett asked me.
"Peaches...or maybe it's nectarines...I don't know."
"You don't know?"
"I'm not really a big fruit person."
"Clearly."
Several more of the teenagers came down the stairs.
"Heya." Kayley said, coming over and kissing Garrett on the cheek.
"Aw, that's so sweet!" I smiled.
Kayley and Garrett smiled sappily at each other.
"So, I heard the girls had an interesting night last night. Especially Crysta..." Garrett said with smirk.
We grinned. "Oh, yeah, it was fun." I said.
The rest of the boys and Audrey came down.
"Hey Rach, Kayley." The boys said.
"Hey Garrett." Audrey said.
"Hey." We replied.
"What are you eating Rach?"
"I dunno."
"Okay..." Aladdin said looking confused.
"'Morning Rachel." Jim said smiling at me.
"'Morning Jim." I said with a slight blush. Audrey raised her eybrows at me, Kayley gave me a smug look, I glared at them.
Jasmine, Crysta and Ariel came downstairs.
"'Morning girls." The boys said.
"Well hello Crysta!" Jim said with teasing smile. Eric winked at her. She smacked her hand against her forehead.
"So, I hear I have competition." Zak said to Crysta.
Crysta banged her head on the table. "I hate you all!"
"We love you too."
We all laughed at Crysta's discomfort and dug into breakfast, discussing what tasted best and whether Crysta would marry Jim or Eric.
"So, this is the most fun I've had in a while. Well, apart from Crysta taking this time to say that she no longer loves me, we should do this again." Zak stated.
"Amen." I said raising my hand above my head.
"I second that." Audrey chorused.
"We should manage a date." Ariel said.
"And whether we want to have this at another place." Garrett said.
"And how we can perfectly recreate the food fight without making it seem planned." Jim chipped in.
"Oh, that's a must." I nodded.
"For sure."
"So what is everyone doing today?" Ben asked.
"Well, I shall be showing Rachel the most amazing things I can think of yet again." Jim supplied. Jasmine winked at me, I rolled my eyes.
"I shall be doing Princely duties." Eric chipped in.
"And I shall be helping." Ariel said.
"Hmmmm, helping things grow." Crysta said thoughtfully.
"Trying to win back Crysta's affections." Zak said. Crysta punched him.
"Same old same old." Aladdin said.
"Similar things." Jasmine uttered.
"Helping my Dad with the shop or just hanging out if he doesn't need help." Audrey shrugged.
"Doing the things that knights do." Garrett said firmly.
"Whatever that means." Kayley laughed.
"And of course you shall be doing hero-like things." I said to Ben.
He grinned.
"Sounds like none of us have decisive plans..." Jim stated.
"Maybe we could hang out a bit longer..." Crysta finished.
"Oh, so now you just want to spend more time with your new boyfriends?" Zak said, feining offense. She rolled her eyes.
"We are going to be so dead tommorow." I reminded everyone.
"That's what friends are for." Kayley grinned.
"Let's make a toast." Jim said. "To friends! Old and new!"
"Borrowed and blue!" I cried.
"To friends!" We all called out as we lifted out glasses up to the ceiling.

The Crystals of the Universe chapter 8: Truth or dare.
Disclaimer: This is a Fanfiction, I do not own Disney, Avatar, Dreamworks or any of their characters, I did write this, but it is a fanfiction.
Chapter 8: Truth or dare.
We were all still giggling at 2:30 at night. The girls and the boys had split up into different areas of the castle and we had continued our awesome night, and ended up playing truth or dare and telling embarrassing stories, (well, us girls did, I have no idea what teenage boys do when they have sleepovers.)
"Okay, truth or dare." Kayley interogated Crysta.
"Ummm, dare!" Crysta said quickly.
We all giggled.
Jasmine's eyes lit up. "Go to the boys room, knock on the door, until one of the boys answers, and then tell whatever boy answers that you are in love with them, then run away!"
Me and Audrey burst into laughter.
Crysta turned slightly red. "Okay."
We all squealed.
"Ariel's going to have to lead the way, because I can't remember where they are."
"Of course I will, I mean, we all have to watch, don't we?"
"Duh!" We chorused.
"No!" Crysta groaned. "Aw, I want truth now."
"You can't go back!" Kayley said decidedly.
She got up, ran to the door and opened it slowly. Audrey pushed her out of the room.
Ariel lead the way as we ran down the halls, giggling as we tried to remain quiet.
Ariel stopped outside a big door. "This is it." She said not trying to conceal her evil grin as she pushed Crysta towards the door.
The rest of us ran back to hid behind a corner so we could still see but not be seen.
Crysta shot a glare at us as she knocked on the door.
We were dying with silent laughter.
She gave two more knocks before the door opened and Eric and Jim stood there looking confused.
Crysta turned an even deeper shade of red before saying, "Oh, um, hi Jim, hi Eric. Um, I just wanted to tell you that I, um, am in love with you."
After she said that, she sped off towards our squealing group of girls, all falling over each other to run away.
I took a quick look back and saw the two boys standing there completly bewildered. My laughter grew even harder as I ran away cackling.
"That was awful! I am going to kill you all!" Crysta cried.
"That was priceless!" Bubbled Jasmine, tears running down her face.
"Their faces!" I choked, clutching my sides.
Audrey was holding on to her stomach, Ariel was rolling on the floor and Kayley was screaming with laughter.
Crysta stood there glaring at us all.
"Okay, okay." Audrey said trying to be serious. "It's Rach's turn."
"That's right." Said Ariel, sitting up. "Truth or dare?"
"After Crysta? I wouldn't dare choose dare! Truth!"
"Okay." Jasmine said with a smug look on her face. They all looked at each other sneakily. I suddenly felt like I was being ganged up on.
"Sooooo." Kayley began.
"So what?" I asked.
"How do you actually feel about Jim?" Jasmine said connivingly.
My mouth fell open. "We have known each other for twelve days!"
"Me and Al knew each other three days."
"I knew Eric about fifteen minutes before I knew I loved him. Then it took three days for him to love me."
"I knew Garrett three days."
"I knew Zak two days before he kissed me, but I didn't know I loved him until he came back to Ferngully for the second time."
"I've never been in love, so I have no idea, but whatever is happening, I am on your side Rachel!"
"Thankyou Audrey!" I said with some relief.
"Shhh Audrey." Ariel hushed her.
"Come on Rach, tell us!" Crysta coaxed. "You've already known him for four times Kayley's and Jas' time, about fifty times Ariel's time, and if you were me, you should have kissed him six times already!"
"Wow you lot are fast." Audrey whistled.
"Shush Audrey." The others said.
I stared around bewildered. "There is nothing between me and Jim! I take things slow! Even though slow for you lot is two weeks!"
Jasmine smirked.
"Come on, you have to admit that you think he is cute." Kayley said.
I couldn't hid the small smile that played on my lips. "So not the point!"
"Aha! You do think he's cute!"
"So what if I do? I think Ben's cute but I would never go out with him! And besides, Crysta already told Jim that she loves him!"
Crysta growled. "It was a dare!"
"I will still let you never forget it."
"We are talking about you, not about Crysta's undying love for Jim and my boyfriend." Ariel chipped in.
"Okay, fine, just to shut you all up, yes, I think Jim is cute, yes, I can imagine myself falling for him at some point, but, in no way now. It's too soon. So please, stop."
"Okay, we will stop." Jasmine said.
"Thankyou for being honest." Kayley finished.
I rolled my eyes. "Sheesh you guys are tough."
"That we are."
Audrey grinned. "Well, that was entertaining."

Chapter 7: This is a night to remember.
We had planned to all spend the day in Eric's seaside castle together six days after we had the idea. (By the way, none of the married couples were married yet, the movies lied! Who knew?)
I sat at one of the inn's tables eating some french toast. Sarah had been so great, she was practically treating me like a daughter.
Jim came downstairs looking very sleepy and bleary eyed.
"Well hello sleeping beauty." I welcomed Jim.
"Uh." He grunted, taking a seat opposite me and setting his head in his arms.
"Why are you lovely this morning?"
"Was drawing an idea until 4:48 in the morning. Need coffee."
I smirked. "Well, you are going to have to wake up for the whole 'party' thing, everyone is really excited."
He rose his sleepy head out of his arms. "Mm. Sounds like it will be fun."
"Should be."
Jim slowly stood up. "Going to get coffee." He started to walk away.
"Kitchen's the other way Jim."
"I knew that."
"You're going to have to open your eyes to get there Jim."
"Do I have to?"
"No but if you don't you will probably walk into som- ouch! That would have hurt."
"Shut up."
"Hey!" I said as I saw Ariel coming towards me.
"Hi!" She said brightly, hugging me.
"Hey Jim." She said hugging him in turn. (I had learnt that Ariel was a hugging person, which suited me fine because I was a hugging person too.)
"Hey." Said Eric as he came up to us. I grinned and hugged him, thinking about how jealous my friends Mel and Erynn would be if they knew I had met Eric, the cartoon character they were madly in love with.
"Hey Jim."
"Hey Eric."
"You look tired."
"Late night."
"You know you're gonna regret that at 11:00 tonight." Ariel said happily.
"I tried to tell him he shouldn't stay up untill two dancing around his room to his girly music." I said shrugging.
Ariel giggled, Eric gave Jim a trying-to-be-sympathetic-but-failing-miserably look, and Jim glared at me.
Some servants came in and talked to Eric in posh voices. Me and Jim exchanged, 'wow, I wonder what that would be like' looks.
"Crysta and Zak are here." Eric said.
"Awesome!" I said, running back to the massive door.
"Hey!" I called out to them.
"Hey!" Zak grinned. Me and Zak had really hit it off, being from similar time frames and worlds, both having had experiences where we were tossed out of our world, and thrown into a completely different world and both knowing what Lord of the Rings and Relient K are.
Crysta smiled at me and Ariel. She was really sweet.
"Hello?" Aladdin called as he walked in with Jasmine.
"Hey!" The boys said, immediately claiming Aladdin, and us girls grabbed Jasmine.
Half an hour later, me, Jim and Zak were discussing Zac Efron, (modern for me and Zak, really really old for Jim), Ariel, Jasmine and Crysta were talking about everything that was annoying about their boyfriends, Audrey, Kayley and Ben were exchanging different ways to beat someone up, and the rest of the boys were daring each other to do stupid dangerous guy things.
By the time dinner had come around, Aladdin and Ben had managed to fall of a balcony, Garrett had laughed so hard he started to choke on thin air, Ariel had changed outfits three times and Jim and Audrey had exchanged twenty-seven 'yo mamma' jokes.
Everything was going perfect.
"Mmm! This is sooooo good!" I said cheerily.
"The cook is a genius." Eric agreed.
"Despite him trying to kill Sebastian numerous times." Ariel put in.
Ben snorted into his food.
"What is this?" Audrey said, poking a slimy dish with her fork.
"Escargot."
Zak suddenly looked repulsed. "Snails?"
"Escargot."
"So you will eat snails, but you won't eat fish?" Kayley asked.
"Well, I have never talked to snails. Land snails that is."
"I have!" Crysta informed us.
Garrett raised his eyebrows. "Well, that is something I have never heard before."
Jim looked grossed out. "I was eating them..."
I shuddered. "Please do not refer to our food as 'them'!"
Eric looked amused. "I'll tell the cook not to cook Escargot next time."
Jasmine pushed her snail to the other side of her plate. "I would prefer that."
Aladdin snorted. "We all sound so cultured right now."
"Speak for yourself, I actually ate some of it." Jim said rather disgusted.
"What did it taste like?" I asked.
"A bit like a buttery piece of rubber."
Me and Kayley made faces.
"Okay, I do not want this on my plate anymore." Ben said, nudging it with his fork.
Jasmine dropped her cutlery. "Okay, I swear it just moved."
"Serious?" Ariel said, looking over.
"Oh come on!" Eric laughed.
"Well, it wouldn't be the first time the food was alive!" Ariel remarked.
"What?" Crysta and Garrett said at the same time.
"Bleah, I banish you from my plate!" Ben cried, flicking his snail off his plate. It flew through the air and hit Jim in the head.
"Oh gross!" He said, messing his hair to get it off. He looked up and glared at Ben.
It might have stopped there if Ben hadn't smirked at Jim.
Jim raised an eyebrow and picked up his goblet of juice. Ben stared at it with wide eyes.
"You wouldn't dare." He whispered.
Jim stood up and poured the contents on top of Ben.
Ariel and Kayley gasped while trying not to smile. Zak and Aladdin burst into laughter.
Ben grabbed his yorkshire pudding and threw it back at Jim. It was a bad throw and landed in my lap.
I simply looked at the two of them for a few seconds before getting up oh so innocently, standing on my chair and screaming, "FOOD FIGHT!!!!!!!!"
Within a second everything was in chaos.
Aladdin was pelting grapes at Ariel as she retaliated by tossing a block of butter at him. Garrett was in the process of tipping a bowl of punch over the unsuspecting Kayley who was chucking snails at Eric's hair.
I saw the dessert tray come in, (the staff obviously did not know what was going on.) and me and Crysta ran towards it. I grabbed a pie and smashed it in Crysta's previously perfect hair.
I was killing myself with laughter before I felt a huge amount of something cool, liquidy and chocolate pour down my back into my clothes, all throughout my hair and covering my face partially with mousse.
I screamed at the top of my lungs. (Which is really loud.)
I whipped around to murder the person who had just covered me with chocolate mousse.
"JIM HAWKINS!!" I screeched. He burst into raucous laughter.
I ran after him while throwing everything I could reach at his head. I stopped suddenly and looked at the huge bucket of dirty, soapy water which some servant had left out.
I smiled evilly.
Jim was busy throwing eggs at Audrey, so he didn't notice as I snuck up behind him and climbed up on to a chair. Audrey saw me and pretended not to notice.
The huge bucket of disgusting liquid sloshed out the bucket and soaked every inch of Jim.
He yelled really loudly. I squealed with laughter. Me and Audrey high fived over Jim's soaking wet, covered with food head.
This was definitely a night to remember.

The Crystals of the Universe chapter 6: My awesome new friends.
Disclaimer: This is a Fanfiction, I do not own Disney, Avatar, Dreamworks or any of their characters, I did write this, but it is a fanfiction.
Chapter 6: My awesome new friends.
Five days later I had met Phoebus, Esmerelda, Quasimodo, Meg, Hercules, Milo and Kida, was on first name basis with Sokka, Zuko, Suki and Ty Lee (Avatar is real! :o) And was friends with Jasmine, Aladdin, Audrey, Ariel, Eric, Zak, Crysta and Ben Tennyson. (I met Ben 10!)
Me and Jim had really gotten to know each other, (he was a really great guy), and I had settled into a rhythm.
The days were pure bliss, Jim taking me to see the world and I would have the time of my life meeting my favourite 'fictional' characters and doing awesome things I had never thought I could do.
Nights were bad though. On one side of things I would think about the most amazing time I had experienced, but then I would remember that I couldn't see my parents, and that they were probably out of their minds with worry.
It was the best thing that had ever happened to me, and yet the worst.
I was thinking about all these things as Jim knocked on my door. I bounced off the bed and opened the door.
"Yes yes yes?" I said jumping up and down.
He smirked. "Ready to go?"
"Where are we going?"
"I was thinking we could go see Aladdin and Jas again, I mean, you lot really hit it off."
"I'd love to!"
"Good, because me and Al said we would swap flying objects next time we saw eachother."
"Solar Surfer for Magic carpet?"
"Of course!"
"Let's go!" I said runnning down the stairs.
"You haven't even eaten yet!" He yelled jumping down the stairs after me.
"I stopped eating ages ago, gave it up cold turkey!"
"You're insane!"
"Thankyou!"
We ran out of the inn and raced to see who would get to the surfer first. Me, having the headstart, reached it before him.
"You cheated!"
"I never cheat! You're just a sore loser!" I crowed.
He stuck out his tongue at me.
"Oh, because that's so mature." I said, rolling my eyes.
"Whatever, now move."
"No way, I'm driving this time, and you can hold onto me."
"I'm the guy!"
I gasped in shock horror. "You are so sexist!"
"I prefer old fashioned." Jim retorted, snatching the solar surfer off me.
I poked out my tongue.
"Oh, because that's so mature." He said in a high pitched, girly voice.
"I do not sound like that!"
"Oh just get on already!"
Me and Jasmine were talking in her chambers about the movie Aladdin. Well, she was asking and I was telling.
"So they just made us get married straight after?"
"Well, it looked that way, but then you had two sequels, and a Tv show I think.."
She raised her eyebrow. "Now that is weird to find out there are movies about yourself. Whatever movies really are, I still don't know."
"Come to a future universe and you'll know."
We heard the boys yelling and we got up and looked out the window.
"Hah!" Jim was shouting. "I win!"
"You do not, I demand a rematch!"
"I accept another oppotunity to beat you."
"Yeah right!" Aladdin yelled back. They sped off on their various flying instruments.
We rolled our eyes at eachother. "Boys."
"So who won in the end?" I asked.
"Me." Both boys said in unison.
Jasmine and me laughed.
"Don't worry, we're going to have another race next week." Aladdin said.
Jim grinned smugly. "Al's in denial, he actually thinks he has a chance."
Aladdin shoved Jim over who toppled into us girls. We giggled and pushed him off us.
"We should all get together you know." Jasmine said thoughtfully.
"What?" I asked.
"Like a party. We should all see each other more often, we all live in different universes, but we're the same age, and we have mutual friends."
"Yeah, but who's we?" Jim inquired.
"Us, Ariel, Eric, Crysta, Zak, Kayley, Garrett, you know, all the people our age you two have mentioned."
I sat up straight. "Yeah! And Ben and Audrey!"
"Yes!"
I gasped. "That is so awesome!" I high-fived her.
"And I don't have many friends my age, so this will be very cool." Jasmine stated.
"Whereas I, being the irresistable person I am, has far more friends than I can count." Aladdin said smugly.
We all pushed him backwards onto the floor.
"You do realise it will probably end in injury, food fights, clothes beyond the point of repair, and at least three people slapping Aladdin." Jim pointed out.
"Hey!" Aladdin cried in protest from the ground.
"Of course!" Jasmine giggled.
"That's half the fun of it." I laughed.

The Crystals of the Universe chapter 5: Welcome to Camelot.
Disclaimer: This is a Fanfiction, I do not own Disney, Avatar, Dreamworks or any of their characters, I did write this, but it is a fanfiction.
Chapter 5: Welcome to Camelot.
Me, being the graceful creature I am, fell on my feet. *Snorts* Yeah right.
I was falling again, but this time, I had someone falling with me. Jim held onto my hand as we flew through a map of planets. Jim had touched Camelot, and we had been sucked into this tunnel, flying past the other planets before falling into one. We were now falling into the sky, and trying not to crash into trees.
The impact of falling made me lose my grip on his hand, and he plummeted down faster than me.
I saw ground rushing up towards me and I started to scream. Jim hit the ground with a loud thud before I landed hard on top of him.
"Ow." He groaned. "Sorry." I said as I rolled off him, aching all over.
We looked up and saw that we had landed outside of a huge castle. Camelot.
All thoughts of pain flew away at that sight. I jumped up and started running towards the drawbridge.
"Hey wait!" Jim called running after me with a slight limp, holding onto his stomach.
"Sorry!"
"You know, you don't have to apologize for everything."
"Okay, sorry." I said with a cheeky smile. He rolled his eyes.
"Sorry, sorry!"
"Rachel!"
"Okay, last time sorry, and I'm done."
"So much work!" He cried out in frustration.
I laughed and looked over the castle with squinted eyes. "Do you think we can get in?"
"I dunno, maybe." He put his ear to the huge door. "Hey, I can hear music!"
"Music? Hey, I wonder if we are at the end of the movie."
"What?"
"Nothing."
Jim knocked. "Do you think that will work?" I asked.
"Knock and the door will be opened unto you."
The door opened, Jim shot me a smug look, I rolled my eyes. The celtic sounding music grew louder.
We slowly walked through the almost empty square and stood at the back of a crowd in the castle.
"I dub thee Sir Garrett-"
"Oh my giddy aunt!" I hissed, grabbing Jim's arm and shaking it. "We arrived at the end when they're being knighted!"
"Shhh!" He whispered.
"-Knights of the round table." Arthur said finishing his speech.
Everyone started cheering and I screamed along with them. Jim blocked his ears and winced.
The music grew louder as everyone started to dance. I slid down onto the floor and watched, clutching my heart and grinning romantically as I observed Kayley and Garrett kiss for the first time.
"Awwwwww!" I squealed. "It's so sweet!"
Jim gave me a weird look. "Hopeless romantic." He muttered under his breath.
"Emo." I shot back.
"I am not an emo!"
"Uh-huh, sure."
He glared at me, but I could see his eyes were laughing.
"Do you want to dance?" He asked me.
I raised an eyebrow at him. "You want to dance?"
"Well, I'm guessing it's the sort of thing you like, and I'm not too bad."
I gave him a sad look. "I don't know how."
Jim gave me a sympathetic look and then smiled. "Well then it's time you learnt!"
He pulled me up and dragged me into the crowd of dancing people. I laughed the whole time I tried to do some dance steps while dancing with Jim, in a circle of people dancing around, and just clapping in time to the music as Jim tried to teach me a sort of jig.
I was giggling so hard as he did a sort of jump that I didn't notice that I was about to walk backwards into someone.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I'm such a klutz-" I started to say before I realised I who I was talking to.
"It's okay." Garrett said, smiling.
"Hey, you're the one who just got knighted aren't you?" I said, pretending I didn't actually know a lot about him.
His smile grew wider. "Yes I am."
"Wow, you're a hero!"
"Thankyou."
"I'm Rachel." I said, holding out my hand before remembering he wouldn't know where it is.
"I'm Garrett." He held out his hand and I shook it.
Kayley walked up behind him. "Hello, I'm Kayley!" She said brightly.
"I'm Rachel!"
"I didn't want to interrupt, but me and Garrett have to go."
"Ah, to ride off into the sunset?"
She gave me a strange look. "What?"
"Nothing, just ignore that last comment. It was nice to meet you both."
"Maybe we will see each other again."
"I hope so."
"Bye!" They both said, walking off, hand in hand.
I tried to conceal my scream and spun around in circles while jumping up and down.
"Are you okay?" Jim laughed as he walked over to me.
"I just met Garrett and Kayley!" I screamed.
He laughed harder.
"What?" I giggled.
"You're an easy girl to please!"
I just laughed. "This is so amazing! This is the most awesome thing ever!"
Jim grinned at me. "Wow, it's evening already! We better get back before my Mum starts to think we got kidnapped or something."
"Aw, do we have to?"
"No, but we should."
"Since when are you rule boy?"
"If we go now, we can fit in some solar surfing."
I gasped. "Let's go!"
He laughed. "I can tell I'm going to spend a lot of time laughing with you around."
We took each other's hands and ran back to the portal.

The Crystals of the Universe chapter 4: This will be fun.
Disclaimer: This is a fanfiction, so I do not own Disney, Avatar or Dreamworks. I wrote the following piece, but it is a fanfiction.
Chapter four: This will be fun.
"Man, this is weird." I murmered. "Tell me about it." Jim replied.
"Was that what you needed?" Doc asked.
"Yes, it was very helpful."
"Glad I could help."
"I think we should leave now Doc." Jim said, standing up.
"Of course. If you need to know about anything else Rachel, just come here."
"I'll remember that."
"Tell Amelia me and Mum say hi."
"I will. Goodbye!"
"See you!"
Jim directed me out of the building and towards the hill I had arrived on.
Jim looked at me, trying to figure out what I was thinking.
"Do you need to lie down or something?"
I shook my head and sat down in the grass. "I'll be fine."
He sat down next to me. "I guess you'll be staying here for a while."
"I guess so."
I bit my lip to keep it from wobbling. Tears blurred my vision. I couldn't hold it in any more and I started to cry.
I felt sorry for Jim who was sitting there completly helpless as I sobbed my heart out.
He remained silent and let me cry for a while before standing up and holding out his hand. I wiped my eyes and accepted his help.
He smiled at me. "You can stay at the inn for as long as you need to."
I gave him a trembling smile. "Thanks." I whispered.
He put his arm around me and directed me towards the Benbow inn.
"Mum, this is Rachel, she needs to stay here tonight."
Sarah Hawkins looked at me in surprise. She obviously noticed my tear streaked face because she immediatly took compassion on me.
"I'll show you your room."
I suddenly realised how tired I was. As soon as Sarah left I pulled on a guest nightgown and flopped down on the bed.
I could say I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow, but that would be a lie.
Despite how exhausted I was, my mind was buzzing. I was in what I had thought was a fictional universe, being helped by my favourite 'fictional' character of all time. I had gone solar surfing. I couldn't get home.
I had found a magic Crystal. I was a cartoon.
With all these thoughts swimming around my mind, I settled into a troubled sleep.
Sunlight was coming in the window. I sat up slowly.
Now, I am not a morning person in the least. I am more like the Kraken when I first grace the world with my presense.
Today was different however. I was in a different universe, and I needed to find out what I was going to do.
I looked around for my clothes and found them outside my door, clean and ironed.
I yanked them on, and had a close look at my new face.
You could still tell it was me, I still looked like myself, but so many things had changed. I noticed the new piercings in my ears, (the ones I had always wanted) and my lack of insane freckles. Instead of them being everywhere I looked, only a few of them merely graced my nose.
I fastened the laces of my boots, and started downstairs.
I walked in to find Jim talking with his Mother.
"Hey Rach." Jim said smiling at me.
"Hey Jim." I said, smiling in return. (I had to admit, I found him extremly attractive.)
"Did you sleep well?" Sarah asked me.
"Well enough for someone who had such events happen to them. I am assuming Jim told you about all of what happened."
"Yes, you poor thing."
I shrugged, trying not to start bawling again.
"You have to eat something now, you'll need your strength." Jim said, giving me a cheeky look.
"For what, may I ask?" I said, sitting down and taking a bite of something (who knows what) that Sarah set down in front of me.
"Well, you have never seen any of the things around here, and I know how to get to everything in this world and several others. This will be fun!"
I tried to supress my grin. He couldn't be more right.
"Where are you taking us?" I cried out as the wind whipped my hair around my face.
Jim laughed, his hair completly messed up around his face, his rat's tail bobbing up and down behind him.
"That would be telling, wouldn't it?" He called out over the wind.
I screamed with terror and joy as he gave a sharp turn, and the Surfer plummeted down.
We were riding his Solar Surfer to an unknown destination, Jim directing it, me holding on to him for dear life.
After some more thrilling stunts and flips, we came to a landing near a cave in a valley.
We climbed up into the cave and stopped at the back wall.
Jim turned and looked at looked at me.
I raised an eyebrow at him. "What?"
"We're here."
I simply looked at him. "We're nowhere."
He grinned. "Watch this."
He crouched down at the corner of the wall and pressed something. The wall light up into a map of planets.
My mouth fell open. Jim's grin grew wider.
"I found it last year. It's one of those portals to go anywhere within your universe."
"You mean we can go anywhere in your world?"
"Yep. You just choose."
I thought before turning to Jim and asking, "Can you get us to Camelot?"

The Crystals of the Universe chapter 3: The Crystals.
Disclaimer: This is a fanfiction, I do not own Disney, Dreamworks, or Avatar. I wrote the following piece, but it is a fanfiction.
Chapter 3: The Crystals.
"So, you're saying you are from a different universe?"
"Yes."
"And you're telling the truth?"
"Yes."
"How do I know that?"
"You don't. You just have to trust me."
Jim looked at me with squinted eyes. I stared back.
"Okay." He finally said. "But you better not be pulling my leg."
"I assure you, I am not." I bit my lip in thought.
"What is it?" He asked.
I gave him a 'duh' look. "I just transfered into a different universe somehow with a weird crystal necklace thing, I may not be able to get back, and everything I thought was fictional sudddenly turns out to be real, and you ask me what I am thinking about?!"
I finished my speech with a loud sigh.
Jim just looked at me.
"Well," He began. "I thought your world was fiction too."
"What?" I said, utterly astounded.
"Yeah, we have movies here too you know. We have stories about your world, just like you have stories about ours. We call you animation."
"That's what we call you!"
"Well, then that makes sense."
"Do you think your worlds got stories from ours by people like me? And visa versa?"
"I don't know." He mused. His face suddenly spread into a grin. "But I know someone who might..."
-----
*Back in the other world*
"Haha Aaron, very funny."
"Nice story."
"Now, where's Rach hiding?"
Aaron groaned in frustrastion. "I'm telling the truth! She walked through a magic portal in a wall which she opened up by using a magic crystal! I know I sound mental-"
"Yeah." Chipped in one of the boys named Edmund.
"-but I'm not making this up, just come look!"
"What's going on here?" Gwen asked as she strode into the little group of teens.
"Aaron reckons Rach dissapeared into another world." Smirked Lela.
"It's true!"
"Aaron, what on earth?"
"Please miss, just come look!"
Gwen rolled her eyes and followed Aaron into the room, calmly drinking a glass of water, while the rest of the class followed them.
Her glass dropped from her hand and smashed as she entered the room.
-------
*Back on Montressor*
"This is extrodinary!" Doctor Doppler exclaimed. "An actual being from the other universe! I wish I could have seen you in your original form."
"Trust me, I'm prettier in this one!"
"My goodness, this is brilliant!"
"Yeah, Doc, we just want to find out a little about how she got here, and what will happen her friends follow her and stuff like that." Jim intervened.
"Of course." Doc said, sifting through his many piles of books.
"Hey, just out of curiousity, can I ask you guys some questions?" I burst out, not being able to conceal my excitment anymore.
"Sure." They said in unison.
"Okay...so, do people actually burst out into song here? Are the end of our movies actually time accurate? Or, do they just skip to the end to tye up all the loose ends? Like, did everyone just get married staright after? And can you actually hear your soundtrack? Come on, tell me something!" I said, practically bouncing up and down.
Jim and the Doc just looked at each other before looking back at me.
"I'll take this Doc, you just find the book you need." Jim said, giving me an amused look.
"Okay, I'll start from the begining of your questions, and I'll answer what I can. Yes, some people do burst into song here, but you have to be feeling a lot of emotion to do that, I myself have only done it once, and it was really weird."
I kept nodding, this was so awesome!
"-I'm not sure when your movies end, but quite a few of the people didn't actually get married straight after the whole complicated bits and them falling in love, like Aladdin and Jasmine."
I nearly choked on the air I was breathing. "You know Aladdin and Jasmine?!"
"Well, yeah, I world jump. And they're my age, so..."
"Your age?"
"Yeah, I'm nearly seventeen, and so is Jas. Aladdin's eighteen."
"Hey, I'm nearly seventeen too!"
"Well, then there are a lot of people your age in the different worlds."
"Found one!" The Doc cried, immerging from a huge pile of books.
Me and Jim crowded around him.
"The Crystals are an ancient artifact used to jump from universe to universe. They can also be used inside those universes to jump to different worlds. There is a crystal for each of the five universes, which are supposed to be protected by five people in your world, and passed down from generation to generation."
"Then what was that one doing one a sidewalk?" Jim interrupted. I shushed him.
"I don't know, but there have been occasions where people from the different univereses have managed to travel to other ones, and they make their living by telling stories from their worlds and calling it fiction."
"Knew it!" I called trumphantly. "So Walt Disney was from a different universe...weird..."
"The Crystals are protected," Doc continued, "So that people will not abuse their power. There are other portals, but they are very rare, and extremly hard to find. Each Crystal shows pictures of their universe on the glass of the crystal."
I held up the Crystal to my face and stared at the pictures that were now of Grecian gardens and temples.
"A Crystal's portal will remain open for up to twenty minutes after the Crystal has been removed. The Crystal chooses a place to open to, but changes that place every three minutes on average."
I covered my mouth in shock.
"What is it?" Doc asked.
"I bet you anything Aaron gathered a group of people to go in after me, but the location would have changed! That means he could be in any of your worlds!"
"Well that's not good." Jim said after a pause. I glared at him.
"Can Rachel get back?" Jim said, avoiding my evil glance.
"Well, she has the crystal, so she can get back to her world, but she could arrive anyway in her galaxy."
"What?!" I screamed. "You mean if I try it I might end up on Mars or something?"
"If it can be inhabited, then yes."
I slunk down into a chair and stared into space. Jim came over to me and put his hand awkwardly on my shoulder.
The Doc sent me a sympathetic look. "I'm sorry Rachel, there's nothing we can do."
"I know."
Jim looked very uncomfortable. "Doc, what other universes are there?"
"Well, there is ours, Rachel's, there is one similar to hers, but it has more different races and planets, there was a war there a few years ago, it was called the time war-"
I jerked my head upwards. "What?! There is a Doctor Who universe?!"
Doc blinked in confusion. "I have no idea what that means."
"Go on Doc." Jim encouraged.
"There is the universe with Archenland and Narnia-"
"What?!?!"
"Shut up Rach!"
"Sorry!"
"And there is one they call Middle Earth with places like Gondor and Rivendell-"
"Oh. My. Giddy. Aunt!"
"RACHEL!"
"Sorry!"
"Now, the Crystals are specific for a universe, but when you change universes, the Crystal can get you back, just not to excactly where you were originally."
I sighed and covered my face with my hands.
"This is bloody insane."
The Crystals of the Universe chapter two: I meet Jim.
Disclaimer: This is a fanfiction. I did write the following piece, but I do not own Disney, Avatar or Dreamworks.
Chapter two: Meet Jim.
I was free falling through space. It could have been for seconds, it could have been for hours, I honestly don't know.
I was in that state, and then all of a sudden, I wasn't.
The ground rushed up towards me and I hit the ground with great impact.
"Ow." I groaned as I straightened up into a painful sitting poisition.
I looked around at my surroundings. I was on a hill, overlooking a huge city. My mouth dropped open.
The buildings I could see where all futuristic, and there were ships taking off into the sky, and smaller machines flying around above everything.
I tripped backwards and found myself in a puddle of dirty water. "Oh, great." I mummured.
I turned my head to push myself upwards, and then stopped with a shocked squeal.
My eyes were huge and dark green, my skin was creamy and without a blemish, my hair was perfectly styled in a curly brown bob. My figure was perfect, my stomach was flat, and I was wearing a loose t-shirt with a back corset like top over it with baggy three quarter length pants and black combat boots.
But most of all, I was a cartoon.
I touched my face in astonishment. I looked like a mixure between Ariel and Belle. I tilted my head and stared at my reflection.
"Wow."
"Excuse me? Are you okay?"
I slowly turned my head and looked up into the amazing blue eyes of Jim Hawkins.
I promptly fainted.
"Are you okay?!" I heard a male voice say above me.
I looked up at Jim's worried looking face.
"Yeah, I think so." I said faintly. "Yeah, I'm fine." He gently put his hand on my shoulder and helped me sit up.
"How long was I out?"
"Only about fifteen seconds."
I nodded. "That's good."
He stood up and held out his hand to me. I looked at it for a few seconds before smiling at him and taking his hand as he pulled me up.
We stayed holding hands for a few seconds before we let go.
"I'm Jim Hawkins." He said.
"I'm Rachel." I responded. We smiled at each other.
"So, I know this may sound stupid, but is this Montressor?"
He looked at me a little blankly. "Um, yeah. I live down there at the Benbow inn."
"Cool." I grinned.
"Where do you live?"
"Ummmm." I rocked back and forward on my heels. "It's a little bit hard to explain." I said, unable to contain a little laugh of excitment.
He gave me a slightly confused, rather amused look.
I grinned.
"Oh. My.Word." I said. I walked behind him. "Is that a solar surfer?"
He turned and followed me to his solar surfer. "Yeah, I made it."
"It is so awesome!" I squealed.
He smiled. "You think?"
"Yeah!"
"Want to have a go?"
I looked at him with a look of pure bliss. "You are my favourite person in the galaxy."
He laughed. "Okay, I'll show you what to do, just don't think you will be doing any fancy tricks yet."
"I don't know, I'm a fast learner."
Jim chuckled and helped me onto the surfer. "Okay, just hold onto the sail right here, and make sure you are well balenced so you don't fall off as you start."
"Okay." I got into poisition.
"Now, when you are ready, press that button and hold on. Oh, and try not to fly of a cliff."
"Okay." I said nervously, completly exhilherated.
I pressed the button and took off.
I had never felt so good.
I was sailing in mid air, the wind rushing over me. I was so terrified and happy at the same time.
I let out a scream of joy and turned the surfer around so I was flying in a circle around the hill.
I looked down and saw Jim laughing at me. He sent me a thumbs up. I grinned back at him.
The surfer circled one more time before I landed. The solar surfer landed perfectly. I, on the other hand, tripped getting off, and fell into Jim's arms.
He looked down at me and gave me a smile. I smiled back.
We untangled ourselves, and sat down on the hill.
"You did really well! Except for that landing."
"Yeah, well, I'm not the most graceful."
"I can tell!"
"Ah!" I squealed, giving him a shove. He laughed.
"So, why is it hard to explain where you live?"
I bit my lip. "Well-I'm not really...from here..."
"Well, where are you from?"
Come on tell him! He's Jim Hawkins, the hero of Treasure Planet, your favourite Disney character! No, don't tell him! He's still a stranger, I can't!
Tell!
Don't tell!
"Well, it's a very long story..."

The Crystals of the Universe chapter one: The Begining.
The Crystals of the Universe.
Disclaimer: This is a fanfiction, so I do not own Disney, Avatar or Dreamworks. I wrote the following piece, but it is a fanfiction.
Chapter one: The Begining.
I sighed as I let the boredom wash over me.
Blah blah blah blah blah. I was listening to some random guy lecture us about the importance of not turning your back to the audience when you are acting.
Argghh! Does he think we are five? I learnt that years ago! I let my thoughts drift to thoughts of my favourite movies in the world: Disney movies.
Suddenly I was solar surfing with Jim Hawkins, sailing the stars, laughing as his beautiful blue eyes smiled at me and- "Rach?"
I turned to see my best friend Aaron staring at me with one eyebrow cocked.
"What?"
"You were humming."
"Oh."
I turned back to the boring man at the front and let my eyes glaze over as I imagined a piece of space junk falling from the sky and on top of his head.
Aaron poked me in the side. "What?" I hissed.
"Nothing, I just like annoying you!" He grinned.
I rolled my eyes and punched his arm.
Suddenly our teacher was clapping. Everyone shook themselves out of their sleepy trance and gave a few tired claps.
I sighed with relief. "Thank. Goodness."
"Amen to that."
"Okay everyone!" My teacher Gwen called.
"I am going to pair you up!"
I waited in vain for her to call my name, but as usual, I was forgotton. Damn.
"Did I miss anyone?"
I stuck up my hand. "Me, Gwen."
She looked at me suprised. "Oh, Rachel! I can't believe I keep missing you! Would you-"
Would you mind sitting this one out?
"-Mind sitting this one out?"
I sat back down on my perch on the stage.
"Nope."
Aaron sent me a look of sympathy. I shrugged.
Same old, same old.
----------
"Mum!" I called as I unlocked the door and dumped my ever heavy book bag on the floor.
"Back here!"
"Okay! I'm just in the shower, I'll tell you about my day when I get out!"
"Sure!" She yelled.
I turned on the shower and sung my favourite song, 'I'm Still Here (Jim's theme.)'
Twenty minutes later I came out, clean and human feeling once more.
I walked out to see my Mum kneeling on the floor, playing with our Staffy dog Lily, and our eight week old baby staffy Daisy.
"Awwwww!" I squealed, and proceded to join my Mum on the floor.
"So." Mum said, settling into a comfy position and turning to me. "How was drama?"
I held up Daisy to my cheek and let her lick me.
"Fine." I said. "Some boring guy lectured us about stuff we already know, Gwen forgot to pair me with someone again, and Aaron kept calling my name and then saying 'What' when I asked 'what?'. Same as normal."
Mum gave me a small smile.
"It's okay sweetie, people notice you, I promise. And remember, this is Gwen's first year as your teacher. Just remember to pray when things get tough."
"I know, and I promise I'm remembering to pray. I just feel very emo when I'm there."
Mum ruffled my hair. "Well I think you are being very mature. Could you lay the table?"
"'Course."
I set Daisy down and walked into the kitchen.
I tell my Mum everything about drama except one thing...
The people in my drama class are lovely, all except three.
Jake, Dinah and Miranda.
Jake is just a plain jerk, all the girls in drama agreed on that after he called us all sexy within a twenty-four hour period.
Dinah is fifteen years old and acts like she is seven. She is absolutely infatuated with Aaron and thus hates me because she thinks that Aaron will not marry her because of me.
Miranda is seventeen and Dinah's sister. She is also the essense of evil in a teenage girl.
All the boys love her, all the girls are wary of her, and I just loathe her.
She insults me each time I see her, (in private of course,) trips me up, shoves me around around, and is just a pain in my ass.
I try not to bite when she picks on me, but I have called her a snobby, stuck up, immature, butt-faced leech before.
One of my greatest moments.
-------
*Next week*
"Mum, could you drop me here? I would really like to walk."
Mum looked at me, slightly mistified.
"You sure? I'm going to the drama hall anyway."
"Yeah, I just feel like walking."
She smiled. "'Love you piglet."
"'Love you too Mum."
I got out of the car, stuck in my ipod and started to walk.
I was in the second chorus of 'Stacy's Mom' when I stepped on something.
I looked down at my foot at what I had stepped on.
I picked up the necklace at my foot. It was beautiful, a deep red-purple necklace that shined brightly.
I put it in my pocket and keep walking.
When I got to the hall, I walked into the bathroom and turned on the tap to wash the necklace. I ran it under the water as I decided it was a type of crystal.
The water ran over it, and suddenly a glint on the glass shone at me. I stopped and held it up to my eyes.
A series of pictures shone over it, and it started to glow. My mouth dropped open with shock.
"Awesome!"
I grinned and fastened the crystal around my neck. I took another look at it.
A beautiful ship sailed across it, and thousands of stars twinkled out of the crystal. I smiled. This was going to be a good day.
Half an hour later, face to face to Miranda, that feeling had faded.
"Get out of my way, freak!"
"You stopped me! I was just walking!" I tried to manuver myself around her, but she stood in my way again.
"Why don't you just quit?"
"Because I've been going since I was eleven, nearly six years ago, that's four years and six months longer than you."
"You are an ugly freaky little-"
"Just move!" I snapped as I swivled around and stomped the other way.
"-And your sister is a retard!"
I stopped dead in my tracks. My sister had spina bifida, (which has barely affected her on the surface level) and no one ever had made fun of that.
I spun back around and walked over to Miranda, before punching her soundly in the nose.
Her screech split the air.
I stood over her screaming various insults I knew I was not aloud to say and yanking at her hair.
I didn't even realise someone was pulling me away untill we reached a different room.
"Stop hitting me!" Aaron voice yelled.
I stopped struggling and crossed my arms as Aaron carried me up some stairs.
He stopped, set me on a chair and started pacing.
"Rach, what the hec?!"
"She called Ell a retard."
He stopped and looked at me. "What?"
"She said that my sister was a retard, and I obviously assume she was talking about Ella."
He kneeled in front of me.
"Oh, I'm sorry."
I felt tears stinging at the back of my eyes.
"I'm okay, I just needed to make her feel pain."
"Nice."
"Yeah, I know."
I got up and leaned against the wall and started fiddling with the crystal.
Aaron put his hand on my shoulder and started talking about something as I tuned out and started drawing invisible pictures on the wall with my crystal.
The necklace suddenly gave a click and perfectly connected into a crack in the wall.
The crystal began to glow once more, but this time it made the entire room turn a deep red.
Aaron stopped and gasped.
My mouth fell open as the wall began to shine in detailed patterns in the same colour and a huge circle that looked like a pond of water grew on the wall.
Me and Aaron stared in shock.
I slowly stepped forward and looked closely at the portal thing.
I gently slid my hand into it, ignoring Aaron's quiet squeaks of protest.
My hand went in easily and I could feel warm air on the other side.
I pulled it out and stared at it.
My mouth slowly slid into a grin as I turned to look at Aaron.
His terrified look ceased for a moment as he looked me suspiciously.
"Rachel..." He said worriedly.
I grinned. "Are you coming?" I laughed as I stepped through the portal into oblivion.

One of my greatest moments.
